In January we started a project, called “PON”. We are a group of twenty-two people. Some of us are from ITE and study Tourism or Business Administration and some of us study sciences at the ITT. The first part called “Amelia, culla di culture migranti”(Amelia, the birthplace of migrant culture) was in Italian; we did research about the history of Amelia, particularly on how migrant cultures have influenced it. We created posters that we displayd in the corridors of our school. The second part of the project is in English and continues with this online newspaper, the goal of the project.
We usually meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. . During the meetings we often work in groups of two or three people. The teacher suggests a topic such as habits, climate change, stereotypes or new exams and we write an article which she corrects and we can then publish online.
We are almost at the end of this project and we are satisfied of the work made!
